As I still find some new pictures of my mom I decided to divide them into two posts. So this week we are still in spring of 1939 in Pleszew. The same garden which appeared last week. Nice, warm weather. Nobody suppose how the fall will look like.

I suppose the bag belongs to my grandma, and my mom loves to carry it. At least my sister behaved this way ;-) |
|
My grandma and my mom - three years old in all the pictures |
|
My mom with a girl - friend - holding her hand and looking into her eyes.
I suppose the same girl which was on a motor-bike in a previous post. |
Next week we will see the last month before WWII.

She is just so doggone cute! Like a little perfect doll.
An evocative series of images - thanks for sharing them.
I've enjoyed reading several of your posts and I'll come back when I have more time to look at your older posts. What wonderful pictures. My family emmigrated from the area around Poznen. They came to the United States in the 1800's during Austrian and German rule so that they could be free and speak their native language. Thank you for sharing your family with us!
Oh thses are great! I really like the little dolly too!
I'm looking forward to your posts each week and am never disappointed. Lovely pictures. Why do ladies get hooked on bags at so early an age?
It is only when you click and enlarge those images that you realise what excellent photographs they are. You had a first class photographer in the family.
Look how sweet she is! I love the curly hair and big bow on her head! And her little doll is adorable!
Your mother is so very lovely, a beautiful wee girl. You are very fortunate to have all these photos of her.
Each photo seems to tell a story. I really like that bottom photo.
I love your mother's huge bow! She is as cute as can be!
